FPGA/VHDL Engineer
Full Time – Immediate Start
Buffalo, NY
Summary:
Serves as Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Engineer/programmer in support of partnership with government contractor. Engineer will lead or collaborate efforts in the design, testing, analysis, and programming in VHDL or related computer language for various aerospace systems. Ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with significant programing experience in the field of design, RF, FPGA/VHDL and dashboard sensors. Must have experience working on presenting status and technical alternatives for new or existing aerospace systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience in design engineering and programing
- Proficient in FPGA design/Hardware Description Languages such as VHDL
- Demonstrated experience with digital development/programing (MATLAB, Spice, and other engineering packages)
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting government projects and working closely with Program Managers
- Candidate must demonstrate creative skills, excellent communication, can-do attitude, and the desire to work in complex engineering teams
- Familiarity/experience with Python or MATLAB a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of DoD operations as related to planning and design
- Solid skills with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
