Food Services Director/CDM Job at Yona Solutions
Yona Solutions is looking for a Food Services Director/CDM to join the team! The Food Services Director organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the dietary department which provides food and nutrition services to residents in a long-term care facility.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Food Services Director:
- Leads quality dining programs that will enhance the meal experience for the residents
- Ensures that the dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
- Ensures that the food service operation is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
Education Requirements:
- Associate's or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, including a course of study in food service or restaurant management from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Position Requirements:
- Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years experience in long term care preferred.
- ServSafe Certification for Managers, National Restaurant Association, and
- Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP), per the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers, the credentialing agency of the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP), or
- Associate' or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, including a course of study in food service or restaurant management from an accredited institution of higher learning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
