Job Title: Fluids Systems Design Engineer
Location: Valencia, CA

The Fluids Systems Design Engineer is responsible for designing, calculating, and configuring the layout
and process flow of automated Wet Process equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Create P&ID schematic drawings based on customer requirements to define sequence of

• Determine selection of components and identify material selections of fittings, valves, and

• Define all necessary monitoring instrumentation such as flow sensors, pressure gauges, level

• Calculate flow rates and temperature requirements, and verify chemical compatibility to ensure

• Maintain communication with suppliers and manufacturers to determine alternative

• Collaborate with the plumbing assembly team to construct a complete plumbing layout to route

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Fluid

• 3+ years of plumbing system design experience in an industrial equipment environment

• Proficient in 2D CAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or equivalent)

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of chemical & material compatibilities and process flow

• Attention to details and ability to work both independently and with a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Wet Process semiconductor equipment industry

• Master’s degree (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Fluid Dynamics

• Professional certification from an accredited institution in Plumbing System Design or equivalent

• 7+ years’ experience in Plumbing System Design in an industrial equipment environment
