Floor Care Maintenance Tech Job at Sunset Home
The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the facility, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
- Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc., ( Assure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties, and that signs are taken down once these duties are completed).
- Ensure floors are kept clean and in good repair at all times.
- Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
- Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
- Ensure equipment is in good repair at all times. If repairs are to be made, request all parts and material needed through the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
- Assure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
- This position will also be responsible for the floor care of the facility pertaining to waxing & scrubbing floors, cleaning carpets etc.
Light Maintenance work to include work orders, inspections, and other general maintenance duties
Full Time Monday-Friday
Evening Shift-2p-10:30p
- On Call Rotation every 4-5 weeks
