Fabuwood is seeking an experienced Finisher. This candidate should be familiar with prepping, painting, and spraying of high-end cabinetry.

Applicants must be able to handle all aspects of finishing: sanding, prep work, spraying of primer, clear & pigmented lacquers and handle maintenance of spray booth and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and understands painting area and equipment
• Ensures all mixing supplies needed are available
• Ensures the paint lane is clean
• Recognizes color and ensures correct color is uses
• Understands assembly and disassembly of paint gun
• Communicates with the manager any issues with paint gun, air supply, paint quality, and paint booth
• Notifies manager when supplies need to be reordered
• Paints units using proper technique and follows instructions to ensure proper finish
• Follows safety guidelines and always wears personal protective equipment and ensures proper care of equipment
• Learns and understands mechanics of equipment used
• Works cooperatively with other team members
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-5 years’ experience in wood coatings or furniture/building products manufacturing
• Working knowledge of spray equipment and supplies.
• Ability to follow set procedures and learn quickly.
• Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and write in English
• Must have good problem-solving skills
• Availability to work at night: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am.
