Responsibilities

  • As a Financial Controller at CRED, you will be in charge of overseeing the credit facility side of the business, in addition to the following responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Analysing financial data
  • Monitoring internal controls
  • Overseeing and preparing income statements
  • Participating in budgeting processes
  • Managing financial transactions
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations
  • Developing plans for financial growth
  • Evaluating and managing risk, where required
  • Coordinating audit processing
  • Financial compliance in UK, and other jurisdictions, as advised by the management team

Expected Results

  • Build an action plan, in conjunction with the Commercial Director, that will include strategy and process for the Finance Department
  • Identify opportunities for financial streamlining and efficiency across the company
  • Ensure full financial compliance is maintained
  • Formalise working practices and methodology for UK business, and overseas offices, where required

Requirements

  • This role would ideally suit someone that has experience with credit or debt facilities and has had some international exposure, preferably in Europe or the United States.
  • Strong background as a financial controller or equivalent
  • Audit Experience
  • Proven experience in financial management
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Compliance oriented
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fintech background
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment
  • Additional European language skills are a bonus
  • Masters degree in Accounting and Finance
