File Room Clerk Job at Octagon Consulting
The primary purpose of this position is to: prepare physical files for scanning, scan prepped files, and perform quality control of scanned files.
Essential Functions:
- Preparing physical files by removing staples, sticky flags, paper clips etc.
- Maintain organization of prepared files
- Maintain consistent repetitive pace
- Learn to use PDF scan software
- Learn to use high speed/capacity desktop scanner
- Learn to use desktop printer and copier
- Maintain organization of scanned files
- Navigate Microsoft Explorer and folders
- Manually review scanned files using PDF software
- All other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Crosstrain and occasionally help out the Mailroom
- Crosstrain and occasionally help out at the reception desk
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Well organized
- Excellent time management skills; punctual; excellent attendance.
- Solid work ethic and self-motivated.
- Good communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in a high-volume fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Willingness to take on additional duties and responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
