A growing international company in the Semiconductor industry is seeking Field Service Engineers in multiple locations. Requires Japanese Bilingual skills for Phoenix/ Chandler, AZ. Open to non-bilingual candidates for San Jose, CA, Hillsboro, OR, Austin/ Traylor, TX, Durham, NC.

• Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (35hrs/week)
• $80K - $100K/yr. (DOE)/ Non-Exempt
• Medical/Dental/Vision/Life (100% company covers including dependents), Commute Allowance, Relocation Support available

Requirements of the Field Service Engineer ( Japanese Bilingual big plus ) :

• Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Field service engineer, sales engineer, maintenance engineer, or related experience is plus
• Must be Bilingual in Japanese for Phoenix / Chandler, AZ location
• Bilingual in Japanese is a big plus for Hillsboro, OR, Austin/Traylor, TX, and Durham, NC locations
• Must have a valid Driver’s license
• Ability to travel Internationally and domestically
• Sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms constantly, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• May require weekend work for urgent occasions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer ( Japanese Bilingual big plus ) :

• Provide field service engineering activities to customers independently, establish and manage local maintenance service structure
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, update/ upgrade high-value semiconductor equipment
• Inspect and evaluate customer usage of the equipment and provide preventative maintenance
• Provide training to customers in the usage and maintenance of the products
• Liaise between Customers and applications programmers, provide application support
• Prepare various reports to senior management and HQ in Japan
• Attend training in Japan
• Communicates with Japan headquarters’ engineers
• Seek constant improvement, more efficient and cost-effective ways and means in the work process
