ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Quote products for outside sales personnel and customers
Assist with the preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to obtain the maximum efficiency possible and ensure the longevity of all fixed assets
Be aware of and assure that all assigned personnel comply with government regulations and company safety policies and procedures including safety training, safety meetings and inspections
Communicate all complaints or issues to the appropriate department or person
Fulfill customer orders in an accurate and timely fashion
Greet customers in a polite, professional and positive manner
Implement sound inventory control procedures and report accurate inventory measurements when required
Load finished product onto customer vehicle.
Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, clean, safe and environmental sound condition
Maintain the general appearance of the facility to include elevators, grounds, buildings, etc.
Monitor equipment to ensure it is in good working order, participate in the overall maintenance of the facility and equipment
Promote seasonal and new to customers/prospects
Research and recommend new technologies, products, and/or services that are beneficial to customers and to the company
Document Veterinary Feed Directives in accordance with company polices
Ensure all rations are accurate before production
Set and execute a plan of work to process all orders in a timely manner
Stage finished product for loading
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
Microsoft Office Experience
Previous Feed Experience
