POSITION SUMMARY


The fee for service (FFS) FVEP class facilitator will be responsible to accept referrals, orient clients, and conduct curriculum based classes with court referred participants charged with domestic violence. The FVEP class facilitator will function as male/female staff team to conduct DV classes in a cycled rotation. The Facilitator is required to accurately record start date of services, participant attendance, conduct progress notes, complete discharge summaries and actively communicate with referral source. The facilitator may also be asked to appear in court and/or support the court systems as needed. Facilitators are required to provide services on location unless the contract states differently. This is not a remote position.


Facilitators will attend the annual mandatory training sponsored by CSSD and other contract sponsored supervision requirements. Training in the CDCS statewide data system will be provided by the contract.


SKILLS


  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with mandated clients from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds
  • Experience working with domestic violence for a minimum of 1 year
  • Strong group facilitation skills
  • Ability to function as a team with co-facilitator, referral source, data specialist and FVEP Coordinator
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to handle varied duties & responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel required.
  • Skills to operate agency EMR and state database required.


PQI FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure the consistent accurate collection of the data in a timely fashion
  • Identify patterns and trends for program
  • Use results of data to inform supervisor of trends that may impact services


(Experience/Education Requirements)

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with one year of domestic violence experience. Group Facilitator must have experience facilitating groups and working with mandated diverse populations.
