Family Support Team - Camden Job at KIPP New Jersey
The Family Support Team at KIPP is a partnership between KIPP and the Camden Promise Neighborhood at Center for Family Services (CFS). Team members are CFS employees who are based full-time at KIPP. The team works alongside the school social workers at KIPP to provide a variety of interventions and case management services for KIPP families in need.
The Family Support Team at KIPP is currently hiring for two roles.
The Intake Coordinator manages the referral system from KIPP school staff, provides case management support for families, and connects families with a variety of community resources. The role requires at least an Associate’s degree as well as relevant experience working with at-risk children and their families. Spanish language fluency is strongly preferred.
The Family Support/Mental Health Specialist works directly with students and families with more complex needs. This role provides a range of individual and family interventions in addition to connecting families with community resources as needed. The role requires a Master of Social Work and/or Counseling degree or a degree in a related field, as well as at least 2 years' experience as a case-manager/counselor/therapist for at-risk individuals. Spanish language fluency is preferred.
