Hiring 2 positions:
Full Time; (40hrs/week) Must be Flexible with hours
HOURS WORKED: hours will vary depending on weekly events; weekdays and weekends
POSITION SUMMARY: The Events Coordinator will be the point person for all church and/or school events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Indirectly supervise event custodians
  • Coordinate set up/take down of tables/chairs for events.
  • Ensure adequate staff are assigned for each event. 2-4 helpers depending on the size
  • Ensure that the venue is appropriately set up/taken down
  • Responsible for proper cleaning and take down
  • Directly oversee staff members to ensure proper set-up and tear down of classrooms and other facilities.
  • Coordinate work with each Ministry regarding events
  • Collect and analyze data on projects undertaken, and report on project outcomes
  • Find solutions to problems concerning services or programs provided, or the people affected
  • Ensure that users are using ‘Events U’ scheduler to schedule and request event data
  • Work with supervisor on developing administrative systems and procedures
  • Order, track and keep inventory of supplies
  • When not working on events, will be working as custodian.
  • Work closely with Facilities Director regarding facility requests and concerns.
  • Help develop the Vision, Mission and Values Statement of Trinity Church and Grow in personal discipleship through: Bible study, Life groups, Prayer, Giving of Tithe and Offerings.
  • Must be a member of Trinity Church.
  • Affirms that Scripture defines the roles of male and female and Romans 1:21-27; Romans 1:24-32 condemns the homosexual lifestyle. (1 Cor. 6:9-20; Eph 4:1-11, 5:3-5)

ESSENTIAL
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Continuous walking, standing, bending, and stooping. Occasionally sitting and climbing.
ABILITY TO:
  • Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Work extended hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Perform heavy manual labor at times.
  • Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Two – three (2-3) years experience working as an events coordinator or related experience. High School Diploma/GED required. Combination of experience and education may be considered. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects; attention to detail; organizational skills a must; Ability to work independently and proven ability to solve problems independently; highly organized incumbents will be most successful in this position. Supervisory experience is a plus
