Job Title:
Extrusion Team Lead
Reports To:
Plant Supervisor
Job Instructions :
The extrusion team lead will be responsible for overseeing the extrusion operators. All employees working in the extrusion department must wear safety glasses, gloves, a vest or bright uniformed shirt, and close toed work rated shoes.
Respons ibilities & Duties:
- Manage Extrusion staff.
- Follow duties given out by Plant Supervisors.
- Ensures production stays on target.
- Signs off on all change orders and LOTO procedures.
- Handles all Extrusion production paperwork and ensures it is done properly.
- Manage and oversees all Extrusion training.
Qualifications:
Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in fluctuating temperatures.- Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
- Ability to stand and be mobile throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
