Exercise Specialist Job at Trios Health
An Exercise Specialist -Cardiac Rehab works under the general supervision of the clinical director (M.D., D.O., or PhD board certified in Exercise Physiology, Cardiology, or Internal Medicine) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment and education to Cardiac Rehabilitation patients. This may involve diverse planning and implementation of cardiac care, exercise and therapeutic services as well as assisting with administrative duties, marketing, billing, and/or participation in community events. An Exercise Specialist can perform the duties defined for an Exercise Specialist -Cardiac Rehab and may provide supervision of other staff.
Minimum Requirements: HS Educatiuon. One year experience, including acute care training. AHA HCP, ACLS. Prefer AA or Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Sports Medicine from an accredited school. 2 years related experience. Specific Cardiac Rehab or Cardiac Exercise Education & Training.
