A successful estimating candidate will understand how to read blueprints, specifications, addenda, and other construction documents, perform accurate takeoff, procure competitive pricing and prepare proposals. Candidates will be detail oriented, have strong communication and problem skills, be experienced with Windows, Office, Excel, Outlook, Google, etc.and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
This position performs takeoff for divisions 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 28, procures pricing from manufacturers, reviews pricing for completeness and accuracy, prepares proposals for customers and assists the sales manager in day to day tasks.
Candidates for open positions within the Atlas Companies will display integrity, dependability, proactivity, excellence, and tenacity. Time management, communication, and a “can-do” attitude are a must.
