Equine Nursing Tech Job at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital
We are currently looking for Equine Nursing Staff for the 2023 season, starting in January. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits. Nursing staff assistants must be available for at least 36 to 48 hours a week (depending on the time of year) and have a flexible schedule. The shifts are from 5:30am to 6pm or 5:30pm to 6am. A minimum of one weekend shift per week is required. During the months of March through May, in addition to the one weekend shift per week, one full weekend a month is required. Nursing assistants will work with a variety of equine patients along with an experienced team of nurses and doctors. Patient care is the main responsibility of this position and will vary depending on the needs of the patients. Year-round and seasonal positions are available. A minimum of two years previous horse handling experience is required. Previous experience with Thoroughbred or Standardbreds preferred. No phone calls please.
