Entry Level Shipping & Inventory Warehouse Associate Job at Independent Record Pressing

Independent Record Pressing is a leading vinyl LP pressing operation, supporting the surge in demand for collectible high fidelity recorded music. The company has established itself as a go to manufacturer for a diverse range of independent releases for both new music and reissues across multiple genres.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Associate reports to the Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor and ensures that all materials are received, inventoried, packed, and shipped accurately. They work in a safe and efficient manner.
JOB DUTIES:
· Ensure that all orders are packed, labeled and prepared for shipment on schedule
· Monitors materials (cartons, tapes, pallets) and reorders as required
· Receives incoming orders and puts away in racks, updates computer systems
· Schedules order pickup with carriers daily
· Gets quotes for special shipments as required
· Keeps area neat and organized and safe
· Other duties as required and assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Must be able to become forklift certified
· Experience using a pallet jack and a forklift is a plus
· Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and able to lift and carry
weights up to 30 pounds.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Online Google Products (Sheets, Word).
· Ability to perform a key role in a dynamic multi-shift environment.
· Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondence in English
This is a day shift position - hours are
Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 days per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
