Engineering Project Manager – Kensington, CT
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Engineering Project Manager to join our team at our Kensington, CT location.
This role is responsible to:- Review all contract documents for value engineering, missing information, areas of design inadequacies, and finish requirements, writing and issuing RFIs as required.
- Manage the detailing of the project to ensure project deadlines are met. Coordinating and answering questions from detailers, vendors and other support departments.
- Provide detailing, sketch(s), checking and coordination between vendors, sub-contractors and / or miscellaneous detailers as required.
- Track and manage changes to projects, assisting with pricing as required. Interface with the shop and or field to provide information regarding drawings.
- Reviews logs for Approvals, shop releases, material orders and deliveries to ensure that the project schedule is being maintained and following up on any issues that may arise.
Applicants should have five years of construction experience, three of which in the role of an Engineering Designer, Detailer/Checker or Field Personnel.
