Role: Software Lead

Location: Greater Boston, MA

Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time

The client is seeking a Software Lead who will oversee all aspects of developing and integrating the company's software medical device product, to include:

· oversight of company's software development partner

· lead the company’s software development planning, processes and delivery

· lead the successful software integration of company’s product into hospitals and health care systems

· partner/support company’s customer success team

· lead continuous improvement efforts and software development strategy, to include strategic sourcing of alternative development partners

Preferred Qualifications / Success Assessment Factors

· Experience in medical device software, digital health or regulated health technology products with an emphasis on design and development

· Experience managing remote software teams

· Demonstrated project and program management of complex software and IT integrations, ideally in a class II medical device environment

· Experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams, ideally in a startup, early stage environment.

· Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical leadership experience helping companies make important decisions around technology partners.

· BA/BS or strong aptitude in Computer Sciences or related fields

· Experience developing or testing software as a part of product lifecycle, class II medical devices strongly preferred.

· Experience as a product owner on a scrum team

· Experience developing remote patient monitoring products that operate via cloud.

· Experience with modern web and/or smartphone app product development

· Experience authoring medical device design history file documents

· Experience in the integration of API's, performance testing and feature testing for iOS and Android mobile Apps

· CI/CD of mobile App and backend solutions experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $160,000.00 per year
