General Definition: The EMT, is responsible for providing daily operational support to all activities at Remington Park. This position will provide on site assessment to guests and team members for illness and/or injury related issues in a emergency like setting. As an EMT, they will provide comprehensive and competent reactive care for those visiting or working at Remington Park.

Essential Job Functions:

• 
  Responds to injured and ill patrons and employees while on duty, and administers emergency medical care within the limits of EMT training and certification.
• Reports each incident of medical emergency services performed, and maintains accurate records of services.
• Patrols facility to identify and document fire and safety code violations and takes immediate corrective action where possible. Ensures automated external defibrillator are in working condition
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
• Assessing nature and extent of emergency situations, and need for additional assistance.
• Mitigating incidents by helping to control crowds, protecting valuables and performing other duties.
• Inventories and requisitions emergency medical supplies.
• Patrols facility to identify and document fire and safety code violations and takes immediate corrective action where possible.
• Provides supporting documentation and communicates service requests regarding fire and safety violations .
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of EMT Basic Experience.
  • Prior experience in law enforcement, military or civilian security is optional.
• 
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  
  • Proficient in current emergency medical treatments and procedures
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team orientated environment
  • Strong Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in utilizing office equipment, computers, telephones.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and be able to enter necessary data into a computer.
  • Ability drive company vehicle when required
  • Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-filled casino environment
  Training and Experience:
  
  • 3-5 year of EMT basic training
  • Must be able to pass Title 31 Training
  Licenses/Certifications/Other:
  
  • Active and current EMT certification by the Oklahoma Health Department, National Registry Card.
  • Active and current CPR and AED Certification
  • Current Driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result
