Masis Professional Group is seeking to hire an Electrical Panel Assembler II in Boylston, Mass. Contract (temporary) position. Possible Temp to Hire. First and Second shift position.

Job Summary
The Electrical Panel Assembler II performs a variety of assembly operations associated with multiple electrical and mechanical products. Work is completed according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards. Products includes electrical panels and sub-assemblies with a
range of complexity for integration with capital equipment. Examples include, but are not limited to, power distribution panels, motor controls, and other types of electrical control panels.

Salary: $23 to $26 per hour based on experience

Schedule: First and Second Shift positions

Electrical Panel Assembler II Responsibilities

  • Assemble products per assembly process specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work in a team environment with a positive attitude and support the success of the team.
  • Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosures.
  • Work with written instructions, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists.
  • Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
  • Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies and connecting cables.
  • Perform co-builds with customers and/or project teams with limited support to learn new product builds and transfer knowledge to other assemblers.
  • Learn new product builds and transfer knowledge to other assemblers.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality Control relating to assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications.

Electrical Panel Assembler II Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, prefer technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Good communications skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, focus, and highest standards for quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience wiring electrical panels and/or electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Experience with hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, tape measures, wrenches, and torque wrenches.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical wiring work.
  • Has worked on large scale capital equipment a plus.
  • Able to analyze problems and offer solutions

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended

amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
