Job summary:

Under the direction of the Chief People Officer, the Director of Talent Acquisition will provide leadership on the development and execution of the talent acquisition and credentialing programs, recruitment strategy, and creating PHC brand awareness.

Position Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:

  • Directing the activities of the talent acquisition team to ensure that cost-effective sourcing, screening and hiring takes place throughout all business units;
  • Directing the activities of the credentialing team to ensure timely, accurate provider enrollment with payers/health plans and primary source credential verification;
  • Developing the deploying enterprise recruiting and sourcing strategies that cultivate a high-performance environment and ensures the organization has a strong talent network;
  • Builds partnerships with managers and department heads to understand position requirements and current business needs;
  • Understands and influences forecasted staffing needs and plans recruiting strategies well in advance of actual start date;
  • Communicates regularly with senior leaders to influence business initiatives that will impact staffing levels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process to include talent recruitment, sourcing, pipeline development, workforce planning strategy, on-boarding and orientation, college/intern programs, offer negotiation and search relationships/section, vendor selection and management
  • Manage the provider enrollment/credentialing team
  • Gather and utilize data to analyze productivity of TA and Credentialing to maximize staffing
  • Develop and train team members to ensure successful execution of talent acquisition strategies and measurable results year on year
  • Identify, develop, and monitor talent acquisition metric to determine program effectiveness, including turnover, time-to-fill, cost per-hire, relocation, referral, and diversity and inclusion programs
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, credibility, and an unforgettable employment brand
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners and Compensation Manager to develop clear job descriptions and job pricing aligned with department needs and market expectations
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions
  • Other related duties and projects as necessary

Position Requirements

Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, strong preference for experience in healthcare
  • 2-4 years management experience in talent acquisition capacity with proven success in building a team, aligning resources, and embedding customer service mindset to enhance the candidate experience
  • Demonstrated skill in reporting and data analysis to effectively manage these teams and assist with staffing planning for the enterprise
  • Demonstrated success in identifying high-quality, talented candidates through targeted, highly effective talent acquisition strategies and campaigns
  • Expert level experience with on-line applicant tracking and onboarding systems, including dashboards and reporting
  • Ability to build and maintain constructive business relationships across functions, exhibiting strong organizational savvy
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in vendor and contract management
  • Prior experience within a generalist HR capacity highly desirable
  • Demonstrated accountability for management of compliance activities related to EEOC, pre-employment processes, and immigration related activities (H1B sponsorship, etc.)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Social Networking applications
  • Demonstrates a strong customer orientation with the goal to enhance the candidate experience (candidates, hiring managers, HR Business Partners)
  • Able to handle sensitive situations and act as a mediator when conflicts arise.
