Duties

  • Oversee the direction and successful operations of all Okoboji Barz, Inc. hospitality locations.
  • Work closely with owners to execute the vision of ownership and maintain a culture that exemplifies the company’s core values.
  • This individual must know how to manage a large team of diverse people.
  • Training, motivation, evaluation, discipline and termination of team members.
  • Complete scheduling for all Hospitality locations and conduct staff meetings and in-person orientation training sessions.
  • Oversee training shifts for front of house and back of house staff to ensure all pertinent information is passed along in an appropriate manner.
  • Work with Administration Director to promote employees and develop succession strategies throughout the Hospitality department.
  • Define and develop specific strategies to drive profitability of the food and beverage operations at all locations.
  • Oversee the physical presentation of each location, including cleanliness and general maintenance.
  • Maintain a secure inventory of all food and beverage.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors for both food and beverage.
  • Oversee Menu development to ensure progressive, on trend, and profitable product lines.
  • Promote spectacular customer service and consistent quality product.
  • Ensure that all locations are abiding by all restaurant codes, health inspector regulations and other state and federal laws.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of company events, i.e., Winter Games.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of service industry management experience with responsibility for financial results and employee retention.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays with overtime in-season and flexibility offered in non-peak season.
  • Excellent team leadership and customer service skills. Exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Basic computer skill, business math and accounting skills required.
  • Understanding of retail pricing and related food and labor costs.
  • Self-motivated and highly energetic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
