The Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement (QI) oversees all aspects of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana quality improvement and accreditation processes and the agency regulatory compliance and quality control. Additionally, this Director ensures that the agency maintenance of data in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) meets or exceeds requirements. This Director also designs/executes processes for internal auditing of systems and processes for all facilities and ensures all programs are in compliance with all accrediting entities' standards. This remote position can be located in Ohio and Indiana.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in social service or a related field with ten years of experience or a Master’s Degree with seven years of experience preferred. The incumbent will have a minimum of seven years of related experience, with at least five being in a supervisory capacity. Mastery of, and experience with, accreditation and quality assurance/improvement is required. This position also requires managing complex, multi-function programs at multiple locations. Demonstrated skill in the following areas is essential: program planning, evaluation, and management; personnel management; budget development and management; and ability to interact with all levels of personnel both within the organization and in the community.
