Santé is seeking a Part-Time Development Manager to join our team in Silver Spring, MD! The Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating the grant and development activities of Affiliated Santé Group and Rock Creek Foundation. The Development Manager will seek funding opportunities that advance the mission of each organization, which includes identifying strategies and approaches to new funding streams, researching grants and other funding opportunities that meet organizational goals, coordinating with departments to identify initiatives and goals for expansion opportunities that align with organizational mission, and leading implementation of new programming.

What you will do:

  • Support and partner with the CEO and board members on all major fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with CEO and CFO to develop and implement Santé’s financial strategy for fundraising.
  • Furnish Board of Directors and Executive Director with regular progress reports.
  • Actively participate in the organization’s joint committee on development and fundraising.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors CEO, and senior leadership to create and implement a fundraising plan.
  • Lead fundraising events.
  • Obtain financial support from individuals and organizations.
  • Generate development materials such impact and case statements.
  • Manage data entry and gift processing.
  • Oversee research funding sources and trends, with foresight, to help position Santé ahead of major funding changes or trends.
  • Establish and collaborate with a network to identify and build relationships with new donors.
  • Manage the implementation of development software.
  • Monitor all donor information; provide and present statistical analysis to board and senior leaders.
  • Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors.
  • Recruit, motivate, and retain volunteers to assist with committees and events.
  • Responsible for donor recognition.
  • Create marketing and impact materials.
  • Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum five years (5) years of related experience required five years preferred.
