Typical Day: Work within API Management team, hands-on APIGEE Edge , OAS Spec review, Proxy development . Hybrid work , need to be at located at commutable distance from a client Hub ( Chicago, Peoria and Dallas, TX)

- Reviewing OAS /Swaggers - Operational

- Developing Proxies - Operations

- Developing Automations -

- Rotational weekly On Call Support /Incident Management using Service Now.

Education Requirements: Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university. 2. 2+ years or more of software development experience

Technical Skills Required: 1. Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar. 2. Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral. 3. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS. Desired: *Familiarity working in a Scrum environment *Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms. *Hands on experience with metrics and visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent.

Education & Experience Required:

- 4 -year degree from a university; 6 years’ experience in software development

- Masters Degree: 4 years or more of software development experience
