Dental Billing and Insurance Coordinator - Bluetree Practice Services
Bluetree Practice Services in Reno, Nevada, is looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our Dental Billing Team as a full-time Billing and Insurance Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in dental/medical billing, knowledge of dental and medical insurance and terminology, relevant billing software, and will be familiar with ICD-10 and CDT Code.
The Billing and Insurance Coordinator is responsible for patient services and the following major processes:
- Send monthly statements to patients;
- Post insurance and patient payments daily;
- End-of-day duties which include balancing deposits, sending claims, and reconciling production;
- Answer incoming billing and insurance calls;
- Management of patient and insurance receivables to assure proper collection and cash flow;
- Correctly post treatment and submit dental and medical claims in a timely basis;
- Follow up on unpaid claims;
- Ensure all fee schedules and insurance breakdowns are entered accurately and updated annually.
Salary is based on skills and experience.
