Our award-winning, established, non-corporate cosmetic and family dental practice in South Riding is looking for a FT Professional Assistant with great experience. Our Doctors are rated “Top Docs” in the Washingtonian, Virginia Living and Northern Virginia magazines. We focus on high quality, individual care in a PPO insurance and FFS environment. Our practice is state-of-the-art--practicing under microscopes with Digital Xrays, paperless charting, and Itero for Invisalign and restorative cases. Our Hygiene and Admin Teams and highly trained to help our providers give precise care with a gentle touch. We are a fixture of the local community, and support Veterans through various programs like Dental Lifeline Network, Donated Dental Services and the VDA’s M.O.M Project.

Top pay for this position requires a strong command of restorative workflow. This includes supporting and structuring the doctors’ schedule, looking for same-day dentistry opportunities, designating hygiene checks, calling unscheduled treatment plans, maintaining sterilization with the hygienists, attending community marketing and Team events, ordering supplies, treatment planning the doctor’s vision for the patient, and four-handed dentistry. The most qualified candidate will need to be confident packing cord and making one-to-three-unit temporaries, taking diagnostic full mouth X rays, and taking excellent alginate and digital Itero impressions. Finally, the experienced assistant will be able to motivate patients to schedule with a firm grasp of treatment goals and desired outcomes.
