Position Description:

Data Architect will focus on logical and physical design of table structures in GCP. The ideal candidate will be expert in writing complex SQL, tuning queries and re-writing existing SQLs/View. This role also require to produce Logical and Physical Data Models with corresponding Data Dictionaries (i.e., metadata) using the Corporate CASE Repository while following Guidelines, Standards, and Procedures. Data Architect maintain Data Models over the life of an Application. In addition, the candidate will review designs, launched applications, or packaged software solutions for adherence to information architecture strategies, standards, and best practices, often in preparation for design and architecture reviews at project, practice or enterprise levels.

Skills Required:

Designing large complex table structures dealing with high volume of data · SQL tuning · Writing complex SQL for analytics and for transactional systems · Data Modeling · Google Cloud Technology ( GCP) especially with Big Query and Cloud SQL Data Analytics Database Design

Experience Required:

· 10 years of experience in designing large complex table structures dealing with high volume of data · 10 years of experience in SQL tuning, writing complex SQL for analytics and for transactional systems · 8 years total Data Modeling experience with at least: o 5+ years Data Modeling showing expertise in Relational Analysis o 5+ years Data Modeling showing expertise in Dimensional Analysis · 2+ years of experience in GCP especially with Big Query and Cloud SQL · 10+ Years in Data Analytics Database Design · 2+ years Data Modeling using SAP Sybase Power Designer, or equivalent skills · 5+ programming experience in any language · Ability to facilitate design sessions with subject matter experts to define data requirements and resolve requirements issues. · Extensive experience designing databases supporting complex business rules. · Must be capable of successfully supporting multiple projects concurrently. · Ability to work as a member of a team and with all levels of management. · Outstanding speaking, listening, and reading communication skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills

Experience Preferred:

· Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge · 5 years of experience in designing large complex data structures in GCP BigQuery · 10+ years of experience in writing SQLs dealing with multi Tera Bytes of data for analytical purposes · 10 years total Data Modeling experience with at least: o 5+ years data modeling demonstrating expertise in Relational Analysis o 5+ years Data Modeling showing expertise in Dimensional Analysis · 4+ years' experience producing Data Models using SAP Sybase Power Designer · 10+ programming experience · Substantial Leadership experience with Large Data Architecture Teams · Technical Leadership with Large Data Warehouse Design and Build · Automotive industry experience is a plus · GCP BigQuery, cloudSQL database expertise is a plus · Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and OO Tool experience is a plus

Education Required:

Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent

Education Preferred:

Master in Computer Science or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
