Custodian (Part-time, Evenings) Job at De Smet Jesuit High School
De Smet Jesuit High School seeks experienced custodians to work 25 hours per week on our evening shift (5-10 p.m. Monday - Friday). Custodians will perform a variety of activities to ensure that building and surrounding environments are kept clean, hygienic, neat, and safe for students, staff, and visitors. Specific responsibilities include routine building cleaning and inspections; stripping and waxing floors; emptying trash; clearing snow, ice, and debris from building entranceways; and assisting with set up, tear down, and cleaning before and after campus events. From time to time, custodians may have to work overtime or on weekends. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year’s experience in custodial work. Candidates with experience in power stripping and waxing floors and minor maintenance and repair in a school environment will be preferred.
