District 211, a large high school district in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, has vacancies to fill for multiple custodial and maintenance positions.
Because we offer 24-hour support to our facilities, day, evening, and overnight shifts are available.

For Custodial Positions, applicant must:

• Be familiar with all types of equipment used in maintenance of floors and carpet
• Possess safety habits, skills and insight while performing assigned duties
• Be knowledge in all areas of housekeeping
• Be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned task

For General Maintenance Positions, applicant must:

• Have an bility to maintain a preventive maintenance program.
• Possess safety habits and skills for performing maintenance work.
• Posses Basic knowledge of electricity and plumbing.
• Possess Knowledge to diagnose and repair small electric motors and pumps.
• Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.

For Specialized Maintenance Positions, applicant must:

• Possess skills and experience in one or more trades: HVAC, electrical, painting, carpentry, low voltage wiring.
• Have Knowledge to diagnose and make repairs in the specialized trade.
• Possess safety habits and skills for performing maintenance work.
• Capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.
• Be comfortable working independently and part of a team.
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be capable of working on ladders, scaffolds, and lifts
