Description:
Pratt Institute Division of Information Technology is seeking a Creative Media Specialist to join its Interactive Services team who will oversee the development and production of media assets including original photography, video assets, and interactive media for all areas of instruction and pedagogical promotion at Pratt Institute.

The successful candidate will support new approaches to the use of media at Pratt, enhancing current systems, online resources, and applications. The Creative Media Specialist will oversee media creation to help to communicate best practice processes, as well as archiving and publishing video via talks.pratt.edu using our Kaltura platform, and supporting livestreaming over Pratt TV. Communicate technical standards for Academic approaches using media at Pratt.

On a typical day you will be required to:
  • Create original video assets and facilitate event recordings
  • Perform post-production and video editing
  • Train and support for Pratt's video asset management system
  • Develop and disseminate media standards
  • Support live-streaming initiatives
  • Develop new approaches and uses of media



Salary Range: $65K - $73K + Generous Benefits

Qualifications:
Education: BS or equivalent in film, media or related field required.

Experience: Five years of experience and fluency with relevant software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut,
After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, as well as film and video hardware required.

Required Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills required.
