Job Summary

A Cosmetologist is responsible for working with clients to help achieve desired makeup looks, hairstyles and nail designs.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service
• Performing consultations to understand client wants and needs
• Work directly with clients, using their expertise to create designs and looks
• Provide full range of services offered within the Salon which includes:
  • Coloring, cutting, designing, and washing hair
  • Advising clients on suitable retail products based on preferences and needs
  • Cutting, cleaning, grooming, and painting nails
• Maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean working environment
• Monitoring stock levels in the Salon

Qualifications

• North Carolina Cosmetologist License Required.
• Professional attitude toward clients and colleagues
• Experience is high end salon preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work to consistently high standards
• Must be a team player
• Must be willing to learn new techniques
• Creative, with an interest in fashion and trends
• Must be available for work during weekends and occasionally on Holidays
