Cook Job at Rice & Ramen
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed recipes to ensure quality.
Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use. Store, label and date all food items according to policy.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
- Comply with local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.

- Assist line cooks and Chef during high volume periods.
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
- Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and manager.
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Serve Safe or Food Handlers Certificate required for this role.
