2. Keeps kitchen, dining areas and pantry areas clean and free of clutter. Items are not stored on floor.

3. Prepares food items and serves food to residents within scheduled time frame

4. Assures compliance with state sanitation code

5. Assists with orientation of new staff to job responsibilities.

6. Supervises food service functions

7. Maintains quality of food services, quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area.

8. Ensures waste is disposed of properly, and minimizes waste.

11. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.

13. Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors. Report any issues to supervisor.

14. Reports problems, concerns, issues observed with food service and communicates them appropriately

15. Follows standard precautions, proper handwashing, proper sanitization of kitchen and dining areas is utilized.

16. Observes changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicates them appropriately. Serve meals according to resident dietary needs, orders

17. Observes other problems and communicates them appropriately.

18. Observes all work, safety and administrative rules.

19. Adheres to all established policies and procedures.

20. Records Resident information as required.

21. Avoids loss, breakage and waste of supplies and equipment.

22. Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety and other emergency situations.

23. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals, knowledge of SDS data and location

24. Performs other duties as assigned.

14. First Aid Certified.
