Construction Estimator Job at ENC Construction & Development
- Responsibilities
- Develop and present budgets, reports, and project plans
- Develops bids for construction projects
- Schedules meetings with clients, contractors, site managers, and staff
- Accurately estimate projects from conceptual through construction document phases
- Present Value Engineering ideas when required
- Interpret and accurately compare contractor proposals
- Maintain subcontractor relations and build subcontractor interest for future bids
- Assist in maintaining historical cost database and as well as subcontractor database
- Maintain good working knowledge of current unit costs and building costs/sf
- Accurately estimate general condition costs as well as preliminary scheduling
- Assist with certain post-bid buyouts
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
- Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
- Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and demands
- College Degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
