Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced professional to act as the Construction & Design Quality Department Coordinator at Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP). This individual will be responsible for the administrative project tasks for assigned projects at HSAAP and will be a delegation partner with the department manager. The candidate will be required to integrate within a team of Subject Matter Experts in an effort to fulfill technical requirements/deliverables to the US Government.

The following duties are typical of this position:

• Writing, editing, formatting, and finalizing quality documentation, including a variety of reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and other documents
• Primary liaison with the department manager to facilitate high team performance across OSI
• Monitoring and follow-up activities as related to:
  • Construction Quality Assurance Audits
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
  • Quality investigations / troubleshooting
• Responsibilities for tracking activities as related to:
  • Subcontractor Corrective Action Request (CAR) database
• Evaluation of alternative qualified vendors and subcontractors
• Assist in quality tool development

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or the overall equivalent experience
• Highly effective communication skills, verbal and written, including experience with technical writing
• Collaborative interpersonal experience working with subcontractors and vendors
• Ability to obtain/maintain the required security clearances
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, Publisher) and PDF-editing software, including Adobe Acrobat and/or BlueBeam
• Ability to maneuver through typical obstacles presented on a construction site
• Must be a US Citizen as position supports on a military base and will require security clearances

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Government-Owned/Contractor-Operated construction and operations knowledge and experience
• Experience with bidding and execution of Government programs and contracts
• USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification
• Experience with SAP Concur and Kronos software
