About the Role:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales for Kalmbach Nutritional Services, the role of Commercial Marketing Manager within Kalmbach Nutritional Services (KNS) is an exciting opportunity that touches many aspects of the Kalmbach Feeds Inc. business. The successful candidate in this role will be the tie between our nutrition team, our sales team, and our customers. This position will directly affect the growth of Kalmbach Feeds by effectively communicating to our customers the value added by Kalmbach Nutritional Service.

• Assists in communication of research data and results, demonstrating statistical significance and measurable value that is relevant in the market
• Work with the KNS nutrition team and marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, support materials and economic value for customers
• Build out a successful communication plan via newsletters, website, and online publications
• Develop customer communication plan to relay the value of working with KNS and their ingredient lab
• Development of KNS product and service technical sheets with online resources
• Management of KNS research reports
• Works with the KNS nutrition team as well as customers to identify performance benchmarks
• Represent and promote KNS and KNS products with customers and prospective customers and at industry events
• Works cross functionally with Kalmbach’s sales team, nutrition team and marketing team
• Collaborate with the KNS Research Manager regarding all research findings including statistics, economics, and commercial validation
• Collaborate with KNS and Retail marketing team to assist in the writing of technical marketing bulletins and potential retail improvements

Who you are:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Animal Science, Nutrition or other related discipline
• Masters degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Working knowledge of animal production and related KPI’s
• Experience with marketing tools and technologies
• Excellent teamwork, communication (verbal and non-verbal), creativity, and writing skills
• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation experience
• Ability to assess and understand the needs of customers and how KNS can help them
• Possess a strong desire to help customers meet and exceed their goals
• Ability to understand technical terminology and make it relatable to our customers
• Additional tasks/opportunities as the position evolves
