Job Title: Skilled Trades Apprentice / Laborer Needed
Location: 10 Mile and Hoover, Warren Mi
Pay: $23-27/hr, with experience
Shift:
- 1st (Monday - Friday 7:00 am- 3:30pm)
- Over-time and Weekends as needed
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
Daily Duties / Job Description: This shop produces turn key products and chucks for over 100 automotive and aerospace clients in the USA as well as overseas. Using processes of operating mills, laiths, grinders, we transform sheets of steel and aluminum into customized parts of various sizes. These parts can be as small as dimes or as large as the wheel of a car.
- You will be bending, standing, twisiting, lifting
- You'll be operating various machines - laiths, grinders, lasers, etc.
- Inspecting completed parts for defects
- Reading blueprints, using measuring tools like calipers and guages
- Operating a forklift safely
- Cleaning the shop as needed
- Assisting coworkers with other tasks/duties (lots of crosstraining)
Requirements:
- Requires work boots/steel toes
- Drug screen
- Background check
- 2 Forms of ID
- To be successful you must be able to lift up to 40 lbs by yourself consistently
- Ability to perform tasks without air conditioning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
