Position Summary:
Responsible for service and support for a wide range of products and digital banking channels for designated customer relationships. Provides “high touch” unique, personalized service to clients resulting in a high rate of advocacy on behalf of the Bank. May be focused on a specified community market but can leverage technology to support many or all markets through telephonic and virtual channels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide extensive personalized service to depositors with complex or specialized banking needs. Provide account guidance, including account enhancement suggestions. Serve as a customer liaison to other bank departments to support product and service adoption and to resolve service issues. Serve as the client’s primary contact for other Bank services and questions.
  • Maintain a keen awareness and sensitivity to customer household life events. Establish on-going authentic rapport with clients, to support identification of any new product needs.
  • Welcome new clients and open/establish new accounts, including those clients served in partnership with commercial bankers and wealth/investment specialists. Maintain thorough knowledge of compliance guidelines for proper account set-up.
  • Prepare presentation materials and account opening documents, as requested, for prospect calls.
  • Assist with hosting client events (especially through signature sponsorships) as requested.
  • Proactively participates in educational and development opportunities in order to better serve clients.
  • Achieves measures of success in relationship retention, expansion, and advocacy. Consistently use CRM platform to document and coordinate client interactions.
Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, analyze and comprehend simple instructions, financial reports and/or legal documents and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization.
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required
  • BS/BA degree preferred
Computer Skills
  • MS Office programs
Other Qualifications (including physical requirements)
  • Proven ability to effectively service internal and external clients at a superior level
