The LPVEC has a full-time opening for a Classroom Assistant in our Compass Program for students with Autism and related disabilities.Be a part of our team with a fulfilling career opportunity. Perform non-teaching duties assigned by and under the direction of the classroom teacher. Duties may include but are not limited to: helping students with assignments; supervising individuals and groups; assisting on field trips; assisting with preparing and duplicating educational materials; assisting with attendance and other record-keeping; and assist in managing challenging behaviors or other duties to meet the educational objectives for the student.
