Dabri is looking for a professional engineer to support the client at their office in San Francisco, CA. The candidate must have experience with 3D drafting software for infrastructure projects. This is purely a staff augmentation, the candidate expected to work in the client office in San Francisco, CA.

Duties:

• Roadway designer with knowledge of 3D drafting software, Autoturn, AASHTO and HDM, NACTO bikeway design, survey and roadway staking, pavement section design and pavement condition assessment
• Prepares, reviews, and checks routine studies, calculations, designs, drawings, sketches, and plans for a variety of engineering projects using software tools.
• Conducts field inspections of existing structures to determine the necessity for future construction, repair, or maintenance; conducts preliminary field studies and surveys and collects data relative to the preparation of designs and drawings; reviews and analyzes field data and results of office research to determine necessary corrective measures.
• Conducts routine field inspections of construction and repair projects in progress to ensure conformance with plans, specifications and codes; checks and records work progress at various construction sites.
• Gathers, prepares and maintains engineering data, records and reports.
• Prepares reports, contract specifications, lists of materials, cost estimates, schedules, and progress payments.
• Facilitates coordination meetings, prepares agenda and minutes.
• Work with project teams to ensure projects are delivered to meet client scope, schedule and budget expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Roadway designer with knowledge of 3D Drafting, Autoturn, AASHTO and HDM, NACTO bikeway design, survey and roadway staking, pavement section design and pavement condition assessment
• Min 1 year verifiable professional engineering experience in professional setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and multi-task effectively with minimal direction
• Possession of a baccalaureate degree or graduate degree from an engineering program with a major preferably in Civil Engineering or Engineering Management.

We are also looking for Drafters experienced in drafting with Computer Aided Drafting software on public works projects.
