We are seeking new midwives to join our team! We are a medical practice division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Our midwives and physicians offer comprehensive OB/GYN services in Nyack, NY. This is a full-scope midwifery position, including office hours (4-8 hours) and in-house hospital coverage (12 or 24-hour shifts). The midwives are well-respected and an integral part of the care team, highly autonomous, and with excellent physician support. We serve a diverse population from the large geographic area of Rockland County, NY. Seeking someone passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based, and empowering care to people of all backgrounds. We want a midwife interested in being part of a team, who will help us build and expand this practice over time. Both experienced midwives and new grads welcome! Supportive orientation alongside midwives, competitive salary and benefits. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available.
Qualifications
Qualifications: 1. Education: Masters degree in Midwifery 2. Experience: midwifery experience ideal, 2+ years nursing experience on L&D preferred, new grads considered. 3. Training/Certification: CM or CNM, BLS, NRP 4. Licensure: NYS midwife license and registration
