We’re hiring Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) for our skilled nursing facility. Shifts available:
Day 6am-2pm
Evening 2pm-10pm
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with company policy and procedure under the direction of a licensed nurse
- Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on resident’s chart.
- Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
- Records, reorders and restocks medication inventories.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of State Approved Medication Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
Medication Aide certification from the state board of nursing
