Central Sterile Processing Tech Job at Optim Healthcare
Optim Surgery Center is seeking a full time Central Sterile Processing Tech for our Savannah location.
Job Requirements:
- Assembles instruments, equipment, and supplies required for surgical procedures according to Physician’s preference Cards, AAMI standards, and IFU.
- Cleans, decontaminates, wraps, and sterilizes equipment and instruments.
- Monitors biological indicators for evidence of complete sterilization
- Maintains sterilization records
- Maintains supplies and restocks Central Service and implant trays
- Maintains proficiency in knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and AAMI standards.
- Participates in the performance Improvement related to sterile processing
- Assist to turn over of OR’s as needed.
- Performs routine cleaning of Autoclaves, Sterrad, washers and maintains sterility log. Notifies Manager if repairs are needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
