Harmony Gardens Assisted Living, a beautiful, brand-new building in Maplewood, MN, is hiring compassionate Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team. We offer on-the-job training, generous benefits, and up to a $2,000 Bonus!

Our building will open in December. We will be only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community, Harmony Gardens, will include independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.

There are On-Call, Part-Time and Full-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend and holiday.

PT Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. PT is eligible for a $1,000 Bonus

FT Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. FT is eligible for a $2,000 Bonus.

On-Call Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. This will require working one weekend shift (Friday or Saturday) per month and one summer holiday (Easter, Memorial Day, or July 4th) and one winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
