Laurel Parc at Bethany Village, just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area goes to extraordinary lengths to create a place where seniors enjoy life to the fullest and seeks Caregivers to join our team! Our care team assist residents with ADL tasks including light housekeeping, making beds, assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing, oral & hair care, transferring and other needs based on individual service plans. Schedule: Full Time Swing (2:30pm - 10:30pm) Must be able to work weekends on a rotation.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 DOE (Med Tech - $19.50 - $20.00).

COVID-19 considerations:
In order to comply with the Governor's mandate and OHA rules, applicants must provide proof of being fully vaccinated by their hire date.

Being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 means either having 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience strongly preferred!
  • Have a passion for working with seniors!
  • Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
  • Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility

Physical Demands

Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Other Job Duties:

  • Provides assistance to residents in daily living tasks.
  • Communicates changes in residents conditions.
  • Provides a clean & safe environment for all residents.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and care received.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.
