Position Summary:

Camp store Supervisors are responsible for managing all retail staff. Coordinates the shipping of goods, sets up displays and assists customers and staff during business hours. Maximizing the efficiency of the store's operation including all Food and Beverage outlets and goods.

  • Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor
  • Manage different departments within the store
  • Coach, counsel, recruit, and train employees
  • Evaluate job performance
  • Formulate pricing policies
  • Determine daily coupons
  • Work on store displays to assure store is stocked, neat, and appears full
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers
  • Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and planning
  • Maintain store's cleanliness and health safety measures
  • Organize and distribute staff schedules
  • Operate functions of register and properly close out at the end of each day
  • Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or actively enrolled to achieve a degree
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of work experience in retail sales and operations with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding store sales and operations targets and goals.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Food and Beverage industry (preferred)

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
