Anne Arundel Gastroenterology Associates (AAGA), a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a Full-time Call Center Associate (Communications Associate) to join our team. Start your career in health care with us!
About the Opportunity
Hours are Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Communications Associate greets and directs the calls to appropriate departments, takes messages, schedule appointments, answers messages from the patient portal, and assists with appointment reminders. Additionally, the Communications Associate provides patients with prep instructions and directions to the office. This is an on-site position with no option for remote work.

About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- At least one (1) year experience as a receptionist or similar work
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of health insurance is helpful
- Prior knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel
- Experience with Electronic Health Records / Electronic Medical Records is strongly preferred

The Communications Associate will work on-site at our practice. The address is 820 Bestgate Road, Annapolis. We are located just down the road from Westfield Annapolis which has a variety of intriguing shopping and dining options.
