Job Summary:
As a Calibration Technician for JMA Wireless, you will monitor the calibration database to identify gages that are coming due for calibration, along with collecting gages due for calibration, and coordinating with area managers for backups.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain calibration quotes, where applicable, and coordinating shipment/pickup with outside calibration providers
- Performing in-house calibration of all torque devices, cap gap gages and additional gages, as required
- Scheduling and supporting on-site calibration vendors
- Maintain asset management spreadsheet/migrate into FIIX
- Update asset management system with new gages and/or revised locations
- Review calibration certificates and maintaining records, per ISO requirements
- Review, assess, and document gages that were found out of tolerance when calibrated, coordinating with area managers where applicable
- Coordinate repair of any gages found to be broken and deemed worthy of repair
- Decommission broken or missing gages and coordinate with area managers for replacement
Requirements:
- One year in Quality (preferred)
- Computer literate
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail is a must
- Physical requirements require the candidate to lift up to 40 lbs.
